If errors were what you watch, Oh Jah, Oh my God, who could stand? Psalms 130:3
People differ by nature. Some are easily ruled by emotions, others are not.
Some are comparatively easy to control themselves, self control posing no problem.
Others have more difficulty.
Yet, remember a struggling person,is not a bad person. Some needs our compassion and understanding. Our happiness is involved as we continue to show mercy to those struggling to increase their display of self control. We can see that from Jesus' words in Mat 5:7 that says, do not misjudge the person who may in some occasion fail to demonstrate a true Christian personality.
How encouraging it is that God who is watching us constantly, do not view us like humans does.
Or else, who could stand?

The Power of Not Understanding.
Ignorance is bliss?
Several centuries ago, the Pope decreed that all the Jews had to convert to Catholicism or leave Italy . There was a huge outcry from the Jewish community, so the Pope offered a deal. He'd have a religious debate with the leader of the Jewish community. If the Jews won, they could stay in Italy ; if the Pope won, they'd have to convert or leave.
The Jewish people met and picked an aged and wise rabbi to represent them in the debate. However, as the rabbi spoke no Italian, and the Pope spoke no Yiddish, they agreed that it would be a 'silent' debate.
On the chosen day the Pope and rabbi sat opposite each other.
The Pope raised his hand and showed three fingers.
The rabbi looked back and raised one finger.
Next, the Pope waved his finger around his head.
The rabbi pointed to the ground where he sat.
The Pope brought out a communion wafer and a chalice of wine.
The rabbi pulled out an apple.
With that, the Pope stood up and declared himself beaten and said
That the rabbi was too clever. The Jews could stay in Italy !!!
Later the cardinals met with the Pope and asked him what had happened.
The Pope said, 'First I held up three fingers to represent the Trinity. He responded by holding up a single finger to remind me there is still only one God common to both our beliefs.
'Then, I waved my finger around my head to show him that God was all around us. He responded by pointing to the ground to show that God was also right here with us.
'I pulled out the wine and wafer to show that God absolves us of all our sins.
He pulled out an apple to remind me of the original sin.
'He beats me at every move and I could not continue.'
Meanwhile, the Jewish community gathered to ask the rabbi how he'd won.
'I haven't a clue' the rabbi said. 'First, he told me that we had three days to get out of Italy, so I gave him the finger.
'Then he tells me that the whole country would be cleared of Jews and I told him that we were staying right here.'
'And then what?' asked a woman.
'Who knows?' said the rabbi. 'He took out his lunch so I took out mine.'

Speaking thoughtlessly?
There exists the one speaking thoughtlessly,as with the stabs of a sword,
But the tongue of the wise ones is a healing.Proverbs 12:18
Human speech is a secret,it is a divine gift,a miracle. So wrote by a lexicographer, Ludwig Koehler.
Perhaps we take this precious gift of God for granted. But consider how great a treasure is lost when a stroke robs a loveone the ability to utter intelligent speech.
Conversations can cement friendships, heals misunderstanding, uplift the downhearted, strengthen faith and enrich lives- but never automatically.
Being a Jehovah's witness, and servant,I rather choose my conversations to heal and build up,rather than hurt and tear down.
We also desire to use our tongue to praise our God,both in our public ministry and in our public conversations through our conduct.
Are we struggling to control a quick temper?
Are we finding it difficult to guard our tongue?
Do we have have a tendency towards unwholesome entertainments?
Then we have to sort out the answers in the Bible and overcome such weakness.
If you have your Bible with you, please search the following verse;
Proverbs 14:17,Ephesians 4:29,31 and Ephesians 5:3 also Colossians 3:5
Choosing our associations that builds us up is also helpful.
We must maintain our dignity and self respect as true christians by our speech.
And by our pleasing conduct.
It is always rewarding to be cheerful.

dealing with own chastity
Young people asks if premarital sex is normal and acceptable in our days?
I would like to share this message I read from the Watchtower Society, an organisation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
He that is dealing with the stupid ones, fare badly.
Proverbs 13;20.
CHASTITY has to do with individual`s moral cleanliness or purity.
All too many people today put a low value on their own chastity.
Some regard it as an old fashion notion, one that does not fit on a modern life style.
Thus they gave it up in a small return.
Some trade in their chastity for a few moments of sexual gratification.
Others sacrifice it in hopes of acquiring greater standing in the eyes of their peers or a member of an opposite sex.
Many discover too late just how valuable a possesion their chastity realy was.
As the Bible puts it,the after effects of immorality can be like a poison -> as bitter as wormwood. ( see Proverbs 5;3,4)
In view of today`s corrupt moral climate, how can you cherish and maintain your chastity.
As the above text suggests,we need to exercise care in our choice of associations.

please help
Dear Francesca,
I am married to my husband for four years now. My mother inlaw is always in the middle, interfering to our relationship as husband and wife.I have deep respect to both, as they are now my family. But I dont want to hurt them. Should a meeting with them helps?
Aida
Dear Aida.
Here is a principle I learned. I will use this verse to help you with the problem.Hope this will help you.
If your brother commits a sin,go lay bare his fault between you and him alone.Matt 18:15
Notice that Jesus advised you lay bare his fault between you and him alone. That advice is wise. Some German translation phrase this: present his fault "under four eyes", meaning yours and your brother's. When you kindly bring up a problem in private it is usually easy to resolve. A brother who did or said something offensive or unkind may more readily acknowledge the error to you alone.
If others were listening imperfect human nature might incline him to deny being wrong or try to justify what he did.But as you bring the issue before four eyes, you may find that it is more of misunderstanding rather than a sin or deliberate wrong. Once you both grasp it as a misunderstanding you can settle it, not allowing a trivial issue to grow and poison your relationship. Hence, the principle at Matthew 18:15 can be applied even to minor offenses in daily life.
Dear Francesca,
I read your blog. I want to ask for advice about annulment in Philippines. I am married and my french bf is also married. Is there any chance for me to get an annulment. My husband in Phils said, he would allow me to marry someone, as long as he will not pay any atty and will not go to jail. If I am free to marry, maybe my frenchman will divorce his wife too and we can be together legally. Please help.
*Jade*
Dear Jade:
Solid food belongs to mature people, to those who through use have their persceptive powers trained to distinguish both the right and wrong. Hebrews 5:14
Note that your perceptive powers-your ability to discern right from wrong- are trained "through use". When you must make a decision, guessing, acting on impulse,or simply following the crowd rarely results in a wise choice.
To make wise decisions, you must use your perceptive powers. How?
First of all, by getting all the facts.Proverbs 13:16 says: Every one shrewed will act with knowledge.
Next try to determine which Bible laws or principle bear on the subject.(Proverbs 3:5) To do this, of course one must have a Bible knowledge. That is why Paul encourage us to take solid food- to learn the breadth, length and height and depth of the truth. (Ephesians 3:18)Without Godly principles to guide us,we can decieved ourselves into thinking that something bad is good- simply because our fleshly desires craves it.

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
What will you be doing today? Will you be going to work? Attending school? Running errands?Whatever you will be doing today, please drop by here, I got something for good reflections.
No greater cause for thankfulness do I have than these things, that I should be hearing that my children go on walking in the truth.(3 John 4)
Being a family head in this wicked world is a challenge. Satan and his demons endeavor to destroy the spiritality of God's servants. Moreover, there are a lot of pressure on you, parents, especially on single parents. It is difficult to find the time you wanted to do.But it is worth the effort, even if you can only apply one suggestion /advice at a time to improve your family get together towards God.
Seeing those who walk loyally towards God' way is a heartwarming reward. To walk succesfully in God's way together family members need to find joy in family bible study, going to mass(spiritual reunions)and share in "evangelising" work. For that to be true, preparation is required- preparation that builds up the heart and that equips each one to have a meaningful share.
How do you feed your family spiritually?
